Assignment Number 1 for Digital Photography

Digital Photography’s first assignment is to get logged in as a an administrator to their own personal website and complete the following:

• Choose a site theme
• Write a post that explains what they hope to get out of digital photography
• Post a picture of themselves in the body of their post
• End their post with 3 pictures of their own choosing

Here is my assignment, completed, as an example.

In Digital Photography, I hope the students gain an understanding of digital cameras, editing techniques and digital photography language.  Students will be able to print as well as post there photographs.  Finally, all the techniques should use free software to allow students to be able to accomplish the same quality at home.  Basic elements of web-design as well as rules of thumb for photography will be implemented.
